Personal Checking Account
The Personal Checking Account is our most basic checking product. It is a non-interest bearing account that allows unlimited check writing per month with no charge. A minimum of $100 is required to open this account. The average monthly collected balance must be $1500 to avoid a $10 fee. This means that your balance can fluctuate even down to $1.00 during the month, but that the average over the term of the month on funds that have cleared must be $1500. You will receive a monthly statement for this account. Your check images will be returned within the statement.
This account also allows ATM (Automated Teller Machine) and VISA CheckCard Debit Card usage with no annual fees. VISA debit cards are subject to credit approval via an application submitted to VISA International. There are no transaction charges for ATM usage within the STAR no fee network. Please refer to the service schedules for details on these services and fees that may apply.
Internet Banking and BillPay services are also available with no annual fees and no transaction charges. Internet banking may incur charges from your Online service provider that are not associated with Baytree National Bank & Trust Company.
