Telephone banking is another way for you to accomplish routine banking tasks from your home. You can use Telebanc telephone banking to electronically obtain the following services:
- Receive balance or transaction information on your accounts.
- Initiate the transfer of available funds between qualifying accounts with us.
- Check current deposit interest rates.
- Change your Telebanc telephone banking PIN number.
- Hear current banking hours.
- Leave a voice mail or get transferred to a banking representative.
Telebanc telephone banking is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A 6:00 p.m. cutoff is in effect Monday through Friday for financial transactions. For example, if a transfer is made after 6:00 p.m., the funds will not be posted until the next business evening at 6:00 p.m. However, the requested transaction will be recorded immediately. We may from time to time modify the services and the security procedures for the Telebanc telephone banking system. Prior to doing so, we will notify you of any changes. We may furnish confidential security procedure materials to any authorized signer on your accounts with us, or to any other person we reasonably believe to be authorized to receive the information.
Account balances and deposit rates change on a frequent basis. Consequently, we assume no responsibility for your reliance on such information, which is subsequently updated or corrected, and you hereby waive any claim against us based upon balance or transaction information we provide through Telebanc telephone banking services. We rely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you give to us when you use Telebanc telephone banking. You should strictly maintain the confidentiality of your user ID and password that you or your authorized representatives use to access these services.
By opening an account at Baytree, you are already set-up to use this service within 24 hours. Just call a personal banker, or ask at the time of account opening, to activate your account for the system. Then, simply call the number (1-877-296-2744) and follow the menu instructions. The initial password is the last 4 digits of the social security number of the primary signer. After you initiate the call, you can and should change your password by following the menu instructions.
There is no charge for using this service from Baytree. You may incur telephone charges by your telephone service provider.
