Baytree National Bank & Trust Company is the spearhead company for a family of financial service companies. Baytree was founded in 1999 by Howard D. Adams and Alan W. Adams with the concepts of high service and values in mind. He selected a team to develop a better bank and expanded services from the bank to a series of sister companies. The name Baytree was selected from the Bay tree, which is a California Laurel and a producer of the Bay leaf. The Bay leaf has historically represented honor and integrity and has adorned athletes and scholars for their outstanding accomplishments. The Baytree Companies are held to these same standards from the ground up.
Currently, there are five companies in the Baytree family: Baytree National Bank & Trust Company, Baytree Leasing Company, Baytree Finance Company, St. Francis Mortgage Company and BTB Investments.
